How Can Abdominal Bloating And Swelling In The Feet Be Treated?

My son has been taking a multitude of vitamins and minerals.. His stomach is bloated, his feet are swollen and he is having severe hallucinations. His communication is gibberish. He has neuropathy but was doing okay but now he can t stand or walk well. What should I do? YYYY@YYYY

Hello. For swelling of feet he must get a blood test- renal function test and liver function test to see if these organs are functioning well. Also needs to get cardiac evaluation- ECG, ECHO, TMT.

Regarding bloating of abdomen it may be because of gastritis. He needs to follow some lifestyle tips

1. Do not eat spicy food
2. Take medications for gastritis- pantop/omez/rantac
3. Take little food at frequent intervals. Breakfast around 8am, small snack at 11am, lunch at 1pm, small snack at 4pm and dinner at 8pm
4. Drink plenty of water
5. Do not smoke, take alcohol or tobacco and even excess of coffee and tea
6. Do not take much of stress. Stress aggravates gastritis
7. Do regular exercise. Atleast half an hour per day
8. Learn meditation techniques
9. Follow this regularly for 21 days. It is said that anything you practice regularly for 21 days becomes a habit
