How Can Abdominal Bloating While Suffering From Pancreatitis Be Treated?

Hi - Had my 1st pancretitis attack with lipase level of 26000. Hospitalized x 3 days NPO. Discharged with soft diet and a 800 lipase level. Most recent lab, after 1 week after discharge, was 34. I m still very bloated but very little discomfort. No gallstones present but slow extraction rate (22). Am I ok to exercise and if I maintain this strict diet will I be ok? No further attacks? Kym

Hi,

You should be okay if you control your diet and avoid alcohol and smoking. Slowly the enzymes level will come normal . Don't worry.
