Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi doc! I’ve always had a beer gut or pot belly since my early 30’s and I’ve exercised and lost weight and damn thing still there. I recently discovered that I have type 2 diabetes and I’ve been on a diet and exercising everyday...since I’ve lost close to 30lbs and damn gut just protrudes like I swallowed a freaking basketball. I’m 6’3” tall and I’m pretty muscular but the one thing I cannot get rid of is this annoying gut and some chest or pectoral fat. Am I doing something wrong or is something wrong with my insides? Thank you for your time!

General & Family Physician, Dr. Varinder's Response
Hello,
Please see that it is difficult to lose abdominal fat. As a matter of fact, it is easy to get belly fat than to lose it.
Kindly consult a physical trainer, he will instruct you for the exercises that are directly targeting belly fat. You can also get these exercises if you search on google.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Varinder Joshi
