General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Typhoid is associated with liver impairment explaining high ALT levels.

Once typhoid is completely treated and cleared, liver ALT will get back to the normal range again.

Keep following your doctor's advice.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
