How Can Abdominal Pain Be Treated?

My 14 yr old daughter is taking resperidone and clonipine. She s been taking both for almost a year and the current dosage for 4 months. She occasionally had abdominal pain and or stomach pain. I understand this is a side effect, but the pain has worsened over the past few days. No nausea, no fever, bm s are normal and abdomen is soft. What do you give for the pain? Advil doesn t seem to help.

I can understand your concern.
Better to get done ultrasound abdomen to rule out internal pathology for abdominal pain.
If ultrasound is normal then no need to worry much.
You can give her Cyclopam or Buscopan or hyocimax tablet.
Also give pantoprazole (antacid) tablet for gastritis related pain.
You can also apply warm water pad on abdomen for symptomatic relief in pain.
