How Can Abdominal Pain, Gas, Diarrhea And Blood In Stool Be Treated?

Right now I m in pain on my right shoulder going down my arm. I was prescribed by my primary doctor Baclofen for muscle spasm last time I was in her office because Of the pain on my neck down to my shoulder.Few days ago I went to Urgent care because of the side effect of the Diclofenac pain RX because my right hand started swelling and I was in so much pain. It help the pain to subside but I was experiencing abdominal pain, gas, diarrhea and my stool seems black and I was diagnose positive blood in the stool. The doctor advise me to come back after 3 days if no changes, but my abdominal pain ,gas, diarrhea and my stool

Hi,

I passed carefully through your question and would explain that the positive blood in the stool, coupled with the other symptoms could indicate a possible ulcer.

For this reason, I would recommend performing as soon as possible a fibrogastrocospy.

In the meantime, taking a high dose of PPI (Omeprazole, Pantoprazole, etc.) is necessary.

Regarding the shoulder pain, it could be related to a bulging disc in the cervical spine. For this reason, performing a cervical spine MRI study may be needed.
