hi yes, have had abnormally high BP, which after a flight to Sydney from Adelaide caused me to have tightness of my chest and B/P of 210/110....saw doctor there who increased my Olmetec 20mgms to 40mgms plus, and verapamil 240 at night...gradually came dowm within reasonable limlts...whist this only happened recently, last month I had a angiograme which was clear, but suffered a false aneurysm as a consequence collapsing at home, and again when ambulance got me to ED....hense after Scan , was soon in theatre to have haematoma evacuated and repair..B/P obviously had dropped dramatically, and have just over the past week gone back on the olmetec 40 plus and verapamil. seem to be still getting breathless....was wondering if having the troponin levels done would show anything?..I was hospitalised for 5 days and had 3 x units of blood.Im within the healthy weight range, and walk and do gym work x3 times a week.....have family history of heart disease. I seem to get a bit of a flutterey feeling that comes up into my throat...note sure relevant.......thanks Chris
