I was cleaning out my pores right before bed, with 91 precent rubbing alcohol, and while doing so the bottle slipped and a fair amount went in to my right eye. At first it burnt and for a few seconds when I first opened my eye I couldn t see anything! So in reaction I closed my eye again. When opening the second time I could once again see, in panic I lightly rinsed out my eye. Then ran to my phone to look up tips on what to so in a situation like this and all I got was rinse out that eye for fifteen minuets. After doing so my eye looks filmy or like it has a film over it, not giving it an as clear look as the left eye. It also feels very dry. This may sound stupid but I made myself cry, in effort to check my eye, and only tears would come out of my left eye. I called my grandmother who works in ICU and she said I should be fine, but I m still really scared about what this all may result in. What should I do? It s too late to go to the emergancy room and I happen to be out of eye drops?
