How Can Acid Reflux And High Blood Pressure Be Treated?
I have acid reflux and high blood pressure. I m on meds for both. I have a bad dry cough, can t sleep and bad blurred vision in the last year. I just found out I have cataracts. One from old age and one that progresses quickly and has potential side affects like fast heart beats. Can high blood meds cause cataracts? Two months ago I had a real bad acid reflux attack that burnt my vocal cords and went into my lungs. They gave me antibiotics for protentical phenomenon and stronger anti acid drugs. I m 65 ,weigh 115 ,I m working in my own business for 32 years there is some stress from my work. Any advice would be great thanks

How Can Acid Reflux And High Blood Pressure Be Treated?
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice. Acid reflux can be treated by proton pump inhibitor group of drugs. For high blood pressure you need to do echocardiography test and renal function test. Telmesartan group of drugs are good for blood pressure control. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
