How Can Acid Reflux Be Treated?

I have heart burn so bad every day.i take prolasec otc.it seems to help but a lot of days when I have it real bad I throw up my food or whatever it is I drank.this is a lot.i herd about alfalfa pills.are they any better . iam so miserable most of the time with this. thank you.

Hello,

It is always better to give information regarding your age, weight etc. Anyway, I would like you to follow few instructions which are as follows: Take small and frequent meals.
Avoid spicy foods.
Add plenty of fiber to your diet.
Try to lose weight if you are overweight.
Do not drink water 30 minutes before and 1 hour after you take food.
Take Pantoprazole and domperidone.
