How Can Acid Reflux In An Infant Be Treated?

Hi doctor, My daughter is 2 month 3 week old, she is having gastric problem and also from yesterday evening her body seems to be slightly hot. The thermometer reading shows 37 degree Celsius though. Could you please advise if I need to take my daughter to pediatrician immediately

hi madam/sir,one simple concept in pediatrics is to check if the baby is feeding normally,if the baby is crying too much,how are the extremities any blue coloration,is the baby active,is the baby urinating and defecating as usual.if any of the above symptoms,you notice,you can consult pediatrician.for gastric irritation,its very common in infants.that is due to reflux.always please remember,after every feed,baby must be put on your shoulder and pat her back gently until belching occurs.this is called burping and it eliminates the stomach gas.dont worry.she'll be fine.take care.bye.
