How Can Acne On The Forehead And Cheeks Be Treated?
Hi, I am Oingdrila and I m 20 years. Since maturity I have been experiencing slight acne in my forhead and 1 or 2 in my cheeks. Last year, January onwards my whole face was covered with severe acnes. They were so severe that they become red, swelling and ultimately leading to a dark spot and scar. I suspected I was having cyst, because they mainly occurred in my cheeks, and yes I was correct in August I was diagnosed with PCOD. For 4 months I was having Estranon, and slowly my cystic acnes were reducing but the spot and scar were prominent. Now, as because I was improving my doctor suggested Novelon( a low dose hormonal pill). But again acnes have popped up in my face. I want to get rid of them permanently. Please help.

Acne are part and parcel of PCOD. As your hormonal dose was reduced so you developed acne . Consult your gynecologist or endocrinologist for either increase dose . Avoid excessive rubbing of face , avoid oil or dust on face and avoid squeezing the acne .
