How Can Acute Bronchitis And Sinusitis Be Treated?

My husband was diagnosed with acute bronchitis plus sinus infection in December 2016. He is still coughing. He doesn t have a fever but cannot get rid of the cough. He has been seen in the hospital ER plus two other trips to the urgent care. Nobody seems to be able to help him. What should he do now? Thank you.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

This is quite a long history of cough and needs further evaluation. I think tuberculosis is a concern that may be taken in consideration. Also he can do allergy tests.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka,
