Hello thanks for asking from HCM

You have symptoms of depression. The symptoms like poor sleep, bad dreams, feelings of depression and guilt about your condition etc are due to depression. You have 2 kids to look after and you also have negative thoughts like jumping from bridge etc so these symptoms should not be ignored. I would advise you to consult a psychiatrist for help.

In depression medicines like SSRIs are used. Commonly used SSRIs are Escitalopram, Citalopram, Sertraline etc. These medicines are safe to used and help to come out of depression. Consult a psychiatrist for prescription.

Counselling by a psychologist, cognitive therapy are also non pharmacological methods used in treatment of depression and have good efficacy. Combination of medicines and counselling results in best effects.

Thanks, hope this helps you.
