How Can Alcohol Addiction Be Overcome Permanently?

My husband was assessed as suffering form Acute Alcohol Abuse/addiction & scored 13/17 in the DSM V criteria. he finally went into a rehab centre for 18 days but only one month later he is drinking again. He believes he is cured & that his sober period proves this but I have lived with him for 13 years & he really is an alcoholic but still won't accept this. It isn't safe for me and the children to be around him when he drinks.

What can I do to help him accept that sobriety is the only solution?
