Dear, there is a simple solution to this drinking problem, let us first talk about the medical solution. There is a medicine called as "Antabuse" - Disulfiram tablets. All you have to do is to give your husband, this tablet (once only per day), in the morning when he wakes up. After taking this tablet, if your husband even (by mistake) drinks a single drop of alchohol, any alchohol, hard drinks or beer even, he will feel very horrible and will have such a bad experience that he will think 10,000 times before
drinking any kind of alchohol again. forever. But the problem is that your husband must be admitted to a hospital for between 5-7 days to remove alchohol from his body. This is because, your husband has been drinking alchohol for quite a long time and it is in his blood levels.

There is also another solution. If your husband is determined to drink alchohol at any cost simply take him to a group called AA - Alchoholics Anonymous. This self help group does not charge any fees. They meet everyday from monday to sunday in the evening time, and they have a 100% cure rate. No fees, no medicines. After your husband is cured,
if you personally wish, you can donate money, it's your choice.

If your husband still does not wish to go to AA meeting. Then you must go and inform them, they will meet your husband politely and explain to him everything in a nice way. There is 60-65% chance that your husband will listen to them.

Best wishes,
Dr Neel Kudchadkar
