Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello. I am 19, Caucasian, of Western European descent, and in decent health. I have drank a lot of alcohol starting at roughly 17 and up until today. I define a lot as starting out just drinking on the weekends, and steadily increasing into roughly once every 3 days. In the past year I have also suffered from depression. How much damage have I done to my body, and what steps should I take to get healthier? Also, is it necessary for me to stop drinking if it doesn t affect my day to day life? It helps relieve some of my depression symptoms.
