How Can Allergic Itching And Burning Sensation On The Body Be Treated?

I m trying to figure out what I have and how to best treat it. I ve got an itching and burning skin breakout for about 4 months. It doesn t sound like Shingles because they re not blisters. They started out more like welts. Seems to be happening on a weekly cycle: break outs, itching and burning, slowly subsides. They reduce in size and go away (sometimes leaving scabs or scars because I scratch) then they come back again. Over time they ve reduced in size. I ve discovered through experimentation that they seem to be aggravated by eating wheat so I m assuming its an allergy.
