Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Allergic rhinitis in severe cases can lead to atrophic rhinitis. Most characteristic symptom of this is loss of smell. This is irreversible condition. To prevent progress of this, do steam inhalation 4-5 times a day. Drink plenty of fluids orally and keep yourself hydrated. Yes, you can use naseptin. No harm in it.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
