How Can Allergic Rhinitis Be Treated?

About two hours ago, I took 1 Metoprolol pill as I do daily. I ve had sneezing and a scrtchy throat from coughing and not long after taking the beta blocker, I took a tsp of Delsym cough medicine. Began feeling kind of sick, nervous feeling and I did a search online to see if there was a warning. I found one. How can I counteract these medications? Is my dosage unsafe? Will it just wear off eventually? What should I do?

Generally it will subside by it own. You can take antihistamines like Levocetirizine for symptomatic relief. Antibiotics may be needed in case of symptoms like fever and expectorations.
