Hello,

I can understand your concern for you son's sufferings from allergic rhinitis. One thing is certain that once one is attacked by this allergy, it takes a week to fortnight to recover to health and administering only medicine will not help gain total health.

Drinking a glass of luke warm water with little salt, several times a day helps clearing the stuck mucus in sinus and Neti and Kunjal with salt water practiced under a trained Naturopath relieves from stress instantly. Also sniffing camphor gives instant relief.

Homeopathic Ars 30, 2 drops in 4 spoons of water morning evening 2 days help relieve all symptoms sneezing, itch and uneasiness.

A balanced diet required with all essential nutrients. A course of Vitamin C , lemon juice, green veggies and regular physical activity, Pranayama, Deep Breathing, Anulom Vilom, help strengthening your immune system.

Avoiding constipation, sleeplessness, and smoking is another milestone to be covered towards total health. Occasional consultation with your physician is advised.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Suchda

General & Family Physician Dr. Dr. Parth Goswami's  Response
Hello,

Kindly, investigate with CBC and AEC count.

If AEC count more than 450, then fexofenadine plus montelukast combination drug can be prescribed. Otherwise decongestant like Levocetirizine, OD or phenylephrine for five days can be prescribed.

Steam inhalation can be done three times a day. Salt water gargle can also be done with warm water thrice a day.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Parth Goswami
