How Can Allergic Rhinitis Be Treated?

Sometimes I get severe sinus pressure, congestion, watery eyes if I happen to be in a place where there is smoke (cigar, cigarette, etc.) and it only happens on the right side (right nostril get blocked, severe pressure on the right side-sinus, right eye get watery and red). It seems like it happens every other day.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

According to the history, topic steroids in the nose and in the eyes are the specific treatment. However your doctor should prescribe them after he has evaluated closely your situation.

Regards.
