How Can Allergic Swelling In The Eyes Be Treated?

i picked up a pile of clothes and dust got in my eye. i put in eye drops to clean it but now my eye is nearly swollen shut. I feel fine and my eye was pointed out to me by someone else. I took benedryl and drinking water. What else can i do? when will the swelling go down?

Thanks for posing on HCM
I will suggest you clean your eyes well with clean water and continue with benedryl. You may see a professional for an eye wash with saline or dacryoserum if feeling of particles in your eyes.You should also avoid irritants like dust and smoke now.The problem will go away progressively.
If it persist, you see an Ophthalmologist for examination to eliminate other causes like infection.
