A few years back i had to stay at a halfway house and they had a cat. I am very allergic to cats withing minutes I m wheezing chest is tight and I cannot breath.and unless i don t remove myself from cat I will end up in the emergency room. So the house mom took me to a local clinic downtown and I got a shot it was awesome I wish I would of found out about it years ago! It seemed to have lasted over 2months I can t remember what it was called and know that clinic doesn t provide the shot anymore. Im currently in a situation where I m gonna need to stay with a friend who has a cat and I need to get that shot again.I m hoping you know what I m talking about and can tell me where I can get that shot I don t have time to make appointment for doctor it takes up to 60 days to get seen. Please help
As per your history, it's an allergic reaction as you are allergic to cats. Kindly avoid contact with cats. During allergic reactions, you can take inj. Avil, tab. Loratidine or tab. Montelukast and Cetirizine. For rashes apply Calamine lotion over the affected area. Better to avoid contact with cats. For breathlessness kindly consult with chest physician for detailed examination.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
