General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Well, effective treatments for some types of hair loss are available. But some hair loss is permanent. If your hair loss caused by an underlying disease, treatment for that disease will be necessary. It may include drugs to reduce inflammation and suppress your immune system, such as prednisone. But also, two medications are used for treatment and include minoxidil and Finasteride. If there is no success with these then hair transplant or restoration surgery can make the most of the hair you have left.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ivan R. Rommstein
