How Can Amenorrhea Be Treated?

I was on the depo shot for two years (2014-2016). I took my last shot around march 2016. It s been a year and I still haven t gotten my period yet I get all the symptoms. Is this normal or not? And when will my period come down? I want to get on birth control but I want to at least let my period come but it s not coming!
