How Can An Abdominal Wall Prolapse Be Treated?

my friend was diagnosed with an abdominal wall prolapse, following a total hysterectomy. This cause some frictions in our relationship, she is sixty seven. she is overweight and the abdominal area is quite large. My question: can the excess abdominal area be reduced and the prolapse wall removed by surgical intervention? did I explain my concern and was medically expressive? Thank you for being there.
