How Can An Ankle Sprain Be Treated?

My ankle was some gap due to accident on 26.5.17 suddenly jamp around 3 mts & problem occur in my right ankle due to this doctor suggest to me provided crap banded in ankle & fully rest 3 week & medicine flexon & arthetrip tablet. Kindly suggest me to right way dicision what kind of medical treatments fallow & which time fully load in my ankle was fit.

Hi and welcome to Healthcaremagic forum. I understand your concerns.

If there is just clear liquid then there is no need to be concerned but if there is pus discharge, fever, redness then it may indicate inflammation and you may need antibiotics.

Also if pain is progressive you should do Xrays to rule out bone fracture in injured area.
Till this, you should rest, apply cold compresses, keep it elevated and take nonsteroid painkillers such as ibuprofenum or Diclofenac.

It is however expected that symptoms may persist even for up to two weeks but just watch for these signs that I have mentioned and be patient.
