How Can An Eating Disorder Be Treated?

Hi, my name is Cristina Belle. I am 20 years old and i like to eat pumice stones. You know, the ones you rub your feet with? Anyway this habit started when i was 10 years old.I love the smell of rain, construction and like, a wet staircase. The smell of concrete (wet) would make me very hungry so i used to eat chalk. Now I eat pumice stones and im wondering if its poisionous or bad for my health. I eat 3 stones a day with lots of water. Sone say its a detox but i dont really believe it.

Hello,

It is called pica disorder.
It is dangerous because can lead to lead poisoning, intestinal blockage, anemia etc. You should consult a psychiatrist to help you. Also do blood tests to check for anemia.

Hope I have answered your query.
