How Can An Infant Suffering From Tonsillitis And Vomiting Be Treated?
My 14 month old son has been diagnosed with tonsilitis 5 days after a bad bout of vomiting and fever. He d completely lost all sense of balance, but seems to be getting better now although this morning, i noticed some hard wax coming out of his ear. I know it s not standard practise to do this, but i wanted to know more about how much was there and with some gentle probing with a cotton bud, a lot of wax was released from both ears. I now would like to know what to do and is this normal? Many thanks, Michelle

Hi, Consult pediatrician for vomiting and fever, wax can be treated later, ear cleaning should be done by medically trained person only. Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further. Regards, Dr. Chirag Vaghela, Otolaryngologist / ENT Specialist
