How Can An Infected Scab On The Body Be Cleaned And Treated?

I branded myself with a saughtering gun. It is definitely full thickness burn. I thought that picking the dead scab off would keep it from getting infected. But now I have read stuff on Google that has got me having a panic attack. I need to know how to clean it and what to put on it before it gets infected.

Hi,

If the wound is clean nothing much to worry and it will subside by it own.

As of now, you can apply topical antibiotics like Mupirocin for symptomatic relief.

If there is any signs of infection or redness, you can consult a physician and get evaluated.
