How Can An Infected Skin Cut Between The Toes Be Treated?

My guy got a deep laceration between the 2nd and 3rd toe. Hurts to walk and starting to get warm, red and swollen with a greenish mucus inside the cut. Cleaned it with saline flush and lightly covered with Neosporin covered loosely with gauze to breath. I don t want to make it worse, but I believe I did my best. Amy advise?

Hi,
Thanks for asking.
He needs consultation of a surgeon...followed by through local examination. With needful scrabbing &cleaning of the lesion ,cleaning it throughly with warm water ... drying it throughly &then dressing with glycerine magsulf or antibiotic ointment.Dressing may be done daily or alternatedays as per need.
Oral antibiotics ,anti inflammatory analgesic medicine ,vitamine B complex &vitamine C supliment would be advised as per s3verity of infection.Inj. Tetanus toxoid would be injected as a preventive measure.
Thanks.
