How Can An Infected Wound On Leg Be Treated?

i had a breast surgery last month. when i woke up i found a huge blister on my left leg ( 6 inches) . the doctor said might be due to the dithermy device . my problem is the wound is not healing . blood test came out negative for infection . everytime a scab tries to form it peels off and the woudn opens again. no bleeding except watery/ bloodish drain . what to do?

Pathologist and Microbiologist 's  Response
Hello,

Are you peeling the wound yourself or does it get peeled off spontaneously? In case the wound is getting peeled off spontaneously, then you need to consult a dermatologist for clinical assessment and thus management.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shailja Puri , Pathologist and Microbiologist
