How Can An Inflamed Epididymis Be Treated?

Hi doctor, Recently I was examined by a doctor and was reported that I have been affected by inflammation on the epididymis in my scrotum. Moreover I have been trying to have a baby for the past three years and we are much worried of our failure. Would you kindly advise me please to solve this problem and have a baby soon? Isaac

I can understand your concern.
Epididymitis is infection, inflammation of epididymis. It is structure above the testes which helps in semen production.
When it is infected it causes release of bacteria and pus cells on semen and this causes infertility.
So we should treat infection first.
So consult urologist and start antibiotics for Epididymitis.
Once infection is cured, you can conceive.
