How Can An Inguinal Hernia Be Treated?

Hello Dr. Rynne, I believe I have developed an iguinal hernia on my left side. It is small at this time. It stays in most of the time, but pops back out periodically. If I take it easy will it possibly heal itself? Or is there a non-surgical method to resolve the problem. There is only a small amount of pain at this time. Your input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Scott Miller

Only non surgical method is to wear an inguinal truss--please inquire at a surgical store for one. Wearing it regularly, may prevent need for surgery--regards
