How Can An Injured Forearm Be Treated?

I banged my forearm on a table and the largest vein that runs up the inside of the forearm is filling quickly with blood. W hen held down and then if I hold it up higher it will empty quickly but it feels odd. Will this resolve by itself. I am putting ice on it,

Hello,

It's good you put ice on it. Continue for the next couple of days. Then, by third day, put alternatively warm and cold compresses to dissolve blood.

If you will notice any unusual symptom or pain or if aggravating, should consult with your doctor as soon as possible.
