How Can An Injured Pelvis Be Treated?

Hello Dr., I have been in an auto accident in 2015 and my right side and right pelvis area has been bothering me, I hit it on the steering wheel and or MDT computer that was in the car . I was bruised in that area b ut didn t pay too much attention to it, what should I do at this time.

Hello and welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Since it is already 3 years of injury, malunion might have occurred which is causing you these symptoms. So better to consult orthopedic doctor and get done clinical examination and MRI of Pelvic with both hip joint. If there is non union or malunion then revision surgery is needed to stabilize Pelvic.
