How Can An Irritating Throat With Coughing Be Treated?

Have recent diagnosis of barrets, no cancer found, have also been on acid blockers for about thirty years. I am 65 now in realative good health but this throat thjing is getting to me so I recently started taking digesta cure 6 weeks back, my throat always feels irritated, wakes me at times and always coughing to try and rid of the irritation with no success. Don t know if this digesta cure is helping any and of course at a price of $160 per bottle that s no help either. Question is this irritable throat that s always either bothering me mentally or physically, is this normal, had my scope back about 3 months now ,they said it was ok then but now im wondering who to see what to do.
