How Can An Itchy Ant Bite On The Skin Be Treated?

I think I might have got bit by a fine ant about 3 months ago now, At first I didn t what it was but it formed a huge blister. I let it pop on its own, but not every once it a while it turns blood red, itches like crazy, and is hot to the touch. So what can I do? Or what do you think it might be? When the spot on my wrist isn t inflamed it looks like a dark scar.

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hello,

As per your case-history you are having bite dermatitis. My treatment advice is -
1. Don't scratch the lesions as it may worsen the condition.
2. Apply an antibiotic plus steroid cream like fusiderm-b cream twice daily.
3. Take an anti-histamine medication like levocetirizine twice daily.

If problem persists then consult a dermatologist.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
