How Can An Itchy Rash All Over The Body Be Treated?

what could be the cause of skin reaction that started out as itchy back in November and has now turned into red rash like symptoms covering face body and scalp has fluid running from it? stopped taking low doses of BP med and was on a Statin for cholesterol. currently smokes and is male around 60 years of age. Is on tapering dose of prednisone and Elidel topical. has no clear skin to do allergist patch test.

Hello,

Your concern is allergic contact dermatitis. Avoid hair dye if you are using and avoid pets.

Get ESR done and repeat allergic patch test again at a different lab.

You can try Levocetrizine once daily at bed time and any brand Calamine lotion as required. Consult your physician for prescription.
