How Can An Itchy Rash On The Forearm Be Treated?

I am a 50 year old female Caucasian. Over the last 2 months, I have developed itchy hives/rash on both my forearms moving up to the middle of my inner arm biceps. I also have the same itchy rash/hives on my shins. I feel my general overall health feels like it has been declining over the last 5-10 years. I first believed this was due to the 4, 5mg oxycodone pills that I take daily for my chronic lower back pain but I have been on this med for 5 years without a problem before. I also have been taking levothyroxoid for a underactive thyroid for the past 20 years. I had high potassium levels at my last physical 5 months ago. I am 5 9 180 lbs.....help please

As a first line management, you can apply low potency steroid creams like betamethasone for symptomatic relief. If the lesion persists, it is better to consult a dermatologist and get evaluated.
