How Can An Itchy Rash Spreading To Different Parts Of The Body Be Treated?
I have been experiencing increasing symptoms with no real medical explanation. It began with a rash on my hands that spread to different parts of my body; including my face. It itches like crazy. I was prescribed creams, etc. The itching progressed to my scalp. For the past month or so, I have been experiencing unexplained tingling on my tongue and in my throat. Sometimes for severe than others. I have pain in my ears and my eyes. The itching sometimes feels painful, especially in my right upper arm. I have seen several doctors regarding this--dermatologists and general practitioners with no relief. While I am typing this, my throat is bothering me.
As per your case history, you are having allergic dermatitis. My treatment advice is: 1. Avoid using any new products like soap or perfume. 2. Apply a soothing lotion like calamine lotion on affected region twice daily. 3. Take an antihistamine medication like Levocetirizine twice daily for 7-10 days. If the problem persists then consult a dermatologist.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
