How Can An Itchy Red Rash In The Armpit Be Treated?

Hi. Ok so my daughter has a red, itchy rash in the armpit area. We thought it was her deodorant so she stopped using it. Now it is in both armpit areas. I got her cortisone cream to apply to see if this would help. She thinks it might be a staph infection. Your thoughts?

This is most probably ringworm infection, which can be treated by applying cream clotrimazole and cream clobetasol.
