How Can An Itchy Skin Post Zyrtec Withdrawal Be Treated?

I have been on Zyrtec and Singular for years. I visited an allergist this spring and was told I no longer have allergies. About 2 weeks ago I quit taking both Zyrtec and Singular. Since then I have had itching skin randomly through the day. No hives just itching. Been taking Benadryl for that. Wondering if the two are related?

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

It looks like the itching is due to allergy only and although the symptoms might have become milder but the itching after stopping Zyrtec and Singular seems to be most probably allergic reaction or flaring up of the allergy only
So my suggestion is to consult an Allergist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and an Allergy test can be done for confirmation of the exact cause of the symptoms.
If it is an allergy then anti allergics has to be taken and along with it Immunotherapy can be done to permanently reduce the severity of symptoms.
