How Can An Itchy Spot On The Forearm Be Treated?

Hello, I have had an extremely itchy spot on my forearm for several weeks. There is no apparent rash, but beneath the skin is hard and raised, similar to a welt. No infection, warmth or discoloration. The area is roughly the size of a fifty cent piece. Cortisone cream, benedryl cream and triple antibiotic creams have had no affect. Terribly itchy! Any ideas? Thank you!

Hi,

I suppose there may be scabies infestation. You should go to doctor and he will see skin and also will take materials to see under microscope. You should use Lindan lotion or Permethrin cream.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
