How Can An Open Wound Be Treated?

My dauther had a boil last year that was surgically removed. It seemed it completely healed but she came from a vacation where she did lots of walking and the wound got open a little bit. It’s between her bottox. What is it? Doctor never stitched her wound. Is it serious? What can be done?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Dressing should be done with Betadine and cleaning of the wound with H2O2 and precautionary antibiotic should be taken for 5 days. Nothing much serious it will heal.

Hope I have answered your query.
