Towards the end of Feb. I had a miss period. Took a hpt and the results were negative. went to my primary doctor, took another urine and blood test, the results came back negative. I show every sign of pregnancy: sore breast, cramping, and so forth. My cramping pain got more intense, I went to the ER they ran more test and even a CT scan. The scan reveal I had a cyst on my right ovary. They gave me medcine to take but the pain is getting worst. My cycle finally came on but was over two weeks late. What should I do? ”

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Ovarian cysts are known to cause irregular menstruation and pain. Treatment is mostly with medicines. If cysts which are of compound type, or more than 10 mm in size or are ruptured or there is torsion, then need surgical removal. The constant and increasing pain you have indicates a gynecologist consultation and needful investigation (CT scan) to evaluate/exclude any of the complications followed by specific treatment.
I hope I have answered you query. If you have any further questions you can contact us in every time.
