How Can Ankle Lump Pain With Deep Bruising Be Treated?

I'm a figure skater currently breaking in new skates and a little bit above my ankle on the outer side of my leg there has been a lot of pain from my skates. It feels like a deep bruise but there is no discoloration. And when I press on it, it feels like there is a small hard lump underneath my skin and it is extremely tender.
