How Can Anxiety, OCD With Depression Be Treated?

i have been dealing with anxiety, OCD and depression for years. I have had about 7 people close to me die and I think that this has triggered a lot of the anxiety. In addition, it is causing me to mis-trust my husband who i have been with for 17 years. Could Zoloft help me to calm myself during these anxiety episodes, where I am triggered. Often intellectually, I know I am being irrational but the anxiety takes over and I have a hard time talking myself out of what I am feeling.

I can understand your concern, death of close people was one of main triggering factor for anxiety and OCD. These disorders has probably complicated into depression. Zoloft is sertraline and the drug belongs to SSRI group of antidepressants class. Over all the drug is safe drug and has good actions in OCD, depression and anxiety disorders. The symptoms on mistrust on husband could be due to obsessive symptoms and severe anxiety. As per my opinion sertraline is good drug for such symptoms but you should take opinion from a psychiatrist for diagnosis and prescription.
