How Can Appendicitis Be Treated?
i think i am getting appendicitis!!! I am having discomfort off and on on the right side appendix area. I wondered if they could give antibiotics to prevent it from turning into a full blow appendicitis attack!!! My daughter gets married in two weeks and i walk her down the aisle and i CANNOT miss this night. I do not want any surgery before the wedding to mess me up!!! And.... what is the cost for me to receive an answer? I guess i need to be talking to a gastroenterologist if questions can be answered by a specialist. thank you!! Lana Bailey

Just discomfort in right side area not suggest towards appendicitis
In appendicitis fever, vomiting usually present
If pain in right iliac fossa much than investigate with USG abdomen
If appendix inflamed than it will be clear in USG. And antibiotic will be beneficial.
